Randall Goosby & Jonathan Ware

Randall Goosby & Jonathan Ware

Presented by Saffron Hall

Randall is holding his violin against a lush city skyline with trees in the foreground and skyscrapers in the background

“For me, music has always been a way to inspire others” says violinist Randall Goosby, and since the release of his debut album Roots earlier this year, he’s certainly done that.

Critics praise his “masterful” playing, while audiences can’t help but respond to his understated charisma and glorious sound. Today’s programme is an exploration of music written by Black composers, including several recently rediscovered pieces by Florence Price.
