Foyer Jazz: Georgia Mancio Trio

Foyer Jazz: Georgia Mancio Trio

Presented by Saffron Hall

Georgia Mancio sings soulfully into a microphone

Multi-award-winning vocalist and lyricist, Georgia Mancio (Alan Broadbent, ReVoice! Festival, BBC Proms) is one of Europe’s most respected, adventurous and multi-faceted new artists.

Her multi-lingual music references classic jazz and Latin alongside her own astonishing writing, always stamped with an unfailing emotional integrity. Tonight, in trio with drummer/percussionist Dave Ohm (Ian Shaw, Claire Martin, Gregory Porter), and 7 string guitarist Jo Caleb (Sarah McKenzie, Beyoncé, Craig David), she presents songs from Europe, the US, Central and South America, plus originals from her recent albums. Expect to be transported by this gentle and beguiling sound world.
